Believe and Receive

If you’ve followed my blog, then you know that I am a believer and follower of Christ. I believe that God wants to see His children live prosperous lives. I do believe that it’s more than “name it and claim it”. Followers of that style of teaching will miss the true blessings of God. He’s not a genie in a bottle, waiting to give us whatever our minds can imagine, even if it’s contrary to His Word. Nope. But He does want us to prosper and live healthy, wealthy, and abundant lives.

The Hebrew word for “prosperity” is shalown or shalom, and it’s meaning includes safety, welfare, health, prosperity, peace, and rest.

Proverbs 10:22 – The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.(KJV)

Psalms 35:27 – Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant. (KJV)

It is with this understanding that I share the message of this particular blog. I have been believing God for manifested healing in my body and in a particularly trying moment, I told God I didn’t have the strength to believe anymore. I asked him to help my unbelief. And I could ask Him to help my unbelief, because the Bible says I can.

Mark 9:21-24 –
21 – Jesus asked the boy’s father, “How long has he been like this?” “From childhood,” he answered.
22 – “It has often thrown him into fire or water to kill him. But if you can do anything, take pity on us and help us.”
23 – “‘If you can’?” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for one who believes.”
24 – Immediately the boy’s father exclaimed, “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!”

I wanted Him to believe for me and just take the pain away. He didn’t. But He gave me something better. He sent me to YouTube teachings on faith and healing by Kenneth Hagin. Kenneth Hagin dealt with a life threatening illness when he was a teenager. The doctors didn’t think he’d make it. But he got his grandmother’s Bible and was led by the Spirit to read Mark 11:22-24. He stood on these scriptures and his body was healed. When he finally closed his eyes for the last time, he was 86 and lived a long and full life. What fascinated me about the scriptures he stood on for healing were that they didn’t expressly mention healing. They are scriptures of faith. In the preceding scriptures, we learn that Jesus had walked over to a fig tree, expecting to eat figs, but the tree had none. Jesus cursed the tree. The next morning, as Jesus and His disciples walked past the tree, they saw that it had dried up from the roots and was dead. Peter mentioned it and Jesus said, “have faith in God.” He goes on to say that whoever speaks to their mountains and tells their mountains to be cast into the sea and not doubt but believe that was he says will happen, then he will have whatever he says. Verse 24 says, “… whatever you ask for in prayer, believe (trust and be confident) that it is granted to you and you will [get it].” Of course , we can’t expect things that are against God’s Word, so it’s important for us to know His Word. But His Word is very clear about healing. God wants us well. So, back to my issue, I latched onto these scriptures. I noticed that the fig tree was dead immediately, but the manifestation didn’t happen until the following morning. Sometimes our healing will take time. We Don’t see it immediately. But that doesn’t mean we weren’t immediately healed. Don’t lose faith while your eyes are telling you one thing and God’s Word has told you something else. Don’t speak against what you desire, just because you can’t see it yet. We walk by faith and not by sight. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. once you see it, you’re into manifestation. If you’re having trouble holding onto the promises of God, the ask Him to help your unbelief. He will. Because He loves you. Personalize Mark 11:23-24. Understand that it applies to any mountain in your life. Our job is to believe the Word. God’s job is to make it happen so we can receive what we’re believing. Pray. Ask Him to shed your own revelation on these scriptures. He’ll do it because He loves you.

Throw Off Your Identity…and Be Healed

I spend a lot of time studying healing these days. It’s something that weighs heavily on my heart. I look around me and see so many people suffering. Diabetes. High Cholesterol. High Blood Pressure. Vitamin Deficiencies. Wounded Marriages. Sexual Diseases. Back Pain. Stomach Pain. And the list goes on….. And it’s heart wrenching.

Many of the people living with one or more situations are believers. They’ve read that God heals the sick. Shoot, Jesus raised the dead! So it’s not that they don’t believe that God can, but usually they question whether God WILL. Will God do it for them?

Here’s what I’ve discovered.  There is a difference between what I term “head faith” and “heart faith” Head faith is when you read what you’re believing for in the Word and you know it’s possible. Heart faith, is when you believe without a doubt, and you know, that you know, that you know, that what you are believing for is happening. Even if you do not see it. For example, the Word of God tells us that by Jesus’ stripes we are healed. We read it. We believe that God’s word is true. And, so, in our heads we have the faith to believe that. But when we have a situation, if our belief has not been rooted in our hearts, we will find that we may think God won’t do it for us.

The only way, to make sure that this is not your situation, is to stay in the word of God until you know without a doubt that what you’ve read applies to you as well as everyone else who reads it. And you have to know that in spite of what you may be feeling. You have to know that your marriage is healed in spite of how ridiculous your spouse maybe acting. You have to know that you can be cured from diabetes, even if the medical professionals say it’s impossible. You have to know that you don’t have to accept a sexually transmitted disease, just because you slept around and the doctors say you’ll have it for life. You have to know that you don’t have to suffer from baldness because it’s in your genes.

I encourage you to read the story of Bartimaeus. You find him in the Gospels, Matthew 20-29-34, Luke 18:35-43; and Mark 10:46-52

46 And they came to Jericho: and as he went out of Jericho with his disciples and a great number of people, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the highway side begging.

47 And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me.

48 And many charged him that he should hold his peace: but he cried the more a great deal, Thou Son of David, have mercy on me.

49 And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort, rise; He calleth thee.

50 And he, casting away his garment, rose, and came to Jesus.

51 And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight.

52 And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.

There’s a lot here! Bartimaeus was blind, but his ears still worked! And when he heard that Jesus was there, he started crying out to Him. He referenced Jesus as the Son of David. He knew that Jesus was the Messiah. Which means he knew Jesus was the answer to his need.

The crowd told him to be quiet. The same way people may tell you to be quiet. “Girl, hush, that’s just old age.” “Pssh, everyone loses their site as they get old.” “Why are you stayin’ with that man? After how he treated you? I’d be out.” “Diabetes runs in our family. Everybody will get it.” “Sorry you have herpes. That’s what you get for sleeping around.” Ever have that kind of noise playing in your background? Take a page out of Bartimaeus’ book. When the crowd told him to be hold his peace, the Word of God says he cried out even louder! He asked for mercy.

And his call to Jesus, stopped Jesus in His tracks (v.49) It says Jesus stood still. And He commanded that Bartimaeus be brought to Him. Which is so interesting, because it sounds like the same people who told him to be quiet, were now telling him to be comforted and go to Jesus. Those who once weren’t on his side are now on his side. Hmmm…

Now, check this out. Before Bartimaeus walks to Jesus, He does something HUGE. He cast away his garment. In those days, people were defined by their garments. It was part of their identity. His garment identified him as a blind beggar. Notice that he threw away the identity he no longer wanted BEFORE he went to Jesus. He knew beyond any doubt, that he was in the midst of the Healer. And he had the faith to believe that he was healed.

Jesus asked him what he wanted and he asked for his eyesight. And Jesus told him that because of his faith, he was now whole. And immediately, he received his sight and followed Jesus.

This is how we should be. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1). Check out my blog post on Now Faith Is…  Bartimaeus is an example to us. We need to believe with unshakable faith, that the thing we cannot see, is the exact thing we can have. (As long as what we’re asking for is in God’s Will. And when we spend time in His Word, we learn His Will.)

Manifestation: Waiting or Enjoying?

British Columbia

For years, I’ve been aware of the power of words and I’m very cognizant of the words I speak. For example, when it comes to healing. I do my best to only speak what I desire, and not what I feel. I’ll be honest and say that I sometimes fail in this area. Which is why staying in the Word is so important. I’ve recently had my fair share of doctor’s visits and I’ll share what I discovered about me. Maybe you can relate to some part of my experience. The things the doctor said that I felt I could handle, like taking an iron supplement daily, I accepted without question. I didn’t ask God to regulate my blood so the iron pills weren’t necessary. BUT, when a scan showed something with my heart… well, now that was something I wanted to talk to God about. (Cry to God was more like it.) But in the midst of what I was going through, I always remembered to be mindful of my words.

This brings me to the point of this blog. I was mindful of my words, but I didn’t know what to say. How do you explain what’s going on with you in the natural to a loved one who’s concerned about you? Or to a doctor who needs to know your history? How do you bring them up to speed without speaking life into the very thing you don’t want to acknowledge? My way of speaking was to say, “I know God has healed me. And I’m waiting on the manifestation of that healing.” But that declaration felt “off”. If the Bible says I’m healed then what am I waiting on? I still experienced symptoms and I wasn’t denying what I saw or heard or felt. What I was denying was it’s right over me. There is no sickness or disease or illness, that is more powerful than my God.

Recently, I was listening to a sermon and the minister gave me my answer. He said it always bothered him when people said they were waiting on the manifestation of (fill in the blank). Because to him, it sounded like people were really hoping that God was going to do what they believed God was going to do, but there was a smidgen of doubt. He said he would much rather hear them say a word other than waiting. This really resonated within me and I talked to God about it, and the word that came to me was “enjoying”. Instead of saying I was waiting on the manifestation of healing, I began to say I am enjoying the manifestation of healing. This may seem like a small thing. But when you think about it, it makes a lot of sense.

If you are waiting on manifestation then you are saying that you believe this is something that will happen later on. That currently you are not experiencing manifestation. However, when you say that you are enjoying manifestation, what you are really saying is that you are enjoying manifestation in that moment. So, even if you cannot see what you are believing is manifesting, you are still believing that it is happening rather than believing that it will one day happen.

I encourage you to really think about this. Think about the promises that God gives us in His Word.

Healing People Is Doing Good

38  How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

39  And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree: –  Acts 10:38-39 (KJV)

12  Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

13  And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

14  If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.John 14:12-14 (KJV)

Jesus was anointed by His Father with the Holy Ghost and with power. And He went about doing good and healing people who were sick because of the devil.  There are ten recordings in the Gospels of Jesus casting out demons in people and healing them. What does this tell us? It tells us that healing is good. It’s Godly. And sickness (or oppression) is bad. It’s from the devil.

And Jesus wants us healed. God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. If He wanted us healed of sickness in Biblical days, then He wants us healed today. Now, that Jesus has returned to Heaven with His Father, He’s given us the same power He had. And that power is activated when we use His Name. In John 14, He says that those of us who believe on Him, “the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.” How cool is that! He showed by example what He wants us to do, which is heal those who are oppressed of the devil. And then He gave us the authority to use His Name to do it too! And He seals it with a promise in John 14:14 “If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.” That goes for more than just healing. It goes for anything that’s in His Will for us. So, if what we’re asking lines up with the Word, then John 14:14 applies.

I hope you find this as enlightening as I do. Meditate on it. Get it into your spirit so that you know, that you know, that you know, that you know, without any doubt, that God wants each and everyone of us healed!

The Prayer Of Faith Saves The Sick

13  Is any among you suffering? Let him pray. Is any cheerful? Let him sing praise. 14  Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: 15  and the prayer of faith shall save him that is sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, it shall be forgiven him. 16  Confess therefore your sins one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The supplication of a righteous man availeth much in its working. –  James 5:13-16 (ASV)

This passage of Scripture is speaking to believers in Christ. God’s Word says that if any of us are sick, we can call for the elders of the church and the elders can pray over us. I believe that there are times where what you’re dealing with could be a little too much for you to handle on your own. Maybe satan is attacking your mind and causing you to doubt that healing is possible. In that case, reach out to an elder, someone who can pray for you. It may not be someone who is actually in your church. I see “church” as being the church universal. The body of believers. And let that person pray over you. When you are anointed with oil, there isn’t actually power in the oil. It’s symbolic. The power is in the prayer of faith (v.15). And it’s not just any prayer. It’s a prayer of faith. A prayer that believes that you are healed. And the response to that prayer of faith is “the Lord shall raise him up”. Shall is defined by Webster as “used to give a command or say that you will or will not allow something to happen. Used to say that something is expected to happen in the future.”  When the Word says the Lord shall raise him up, the Word is giving a command that it will happen. You can believe what is written because God tells us in Numbers 23:19-20:

19  God is not a man, that he should lie, Neither the son of man, that he should repent: Hath he said, and will he not do it? Or hath he spoken, and will he not make it good? 20  Behold, I have received commandment to bless: And he hath blessed, and I cannot reverse it. – Numbers 23:19-20 (ASV)

That’s a huge statement! And a blessing! The only way the blessing in His Word isn’t manifested in your life is if you don’t believe it. If you believe the curse more than the blessing. If you believe the pain you’re experiencing, more than you believe that you’ve been healed.  Do yourself a favor, and by faith, accept that His Word is true.

James 5 also discusses the relationship of sin and sickness. Not every sickness is a result of sin. But clearly, based on James 5:15, we see that there are times where sin is at the root. In these cases, we are told that our sins are forgiven. James 5:16 tells us to confess our sins to each other. Not because we have the power to forgive each other. Only God can forgive us of our sins. I believe this is teaching us two things. 1) don’t be held captive to our sin and allow the guilt of our sin to stall our healing and 2) humble ourselves, be honest about our sin, and stop doing it. If we live in guilt and condemnation, we may feel we deserve the sickness and speak contrary to the healing God is ready to give us. And if we persist in our sin, then we may stand in the way of our own healing because we’re blocking our healing.

Know The Difference Between Healing And Miracles… It Will Strengthen Your Faith

6  And there are diversities of workings, but the same God, who worketh all things in all. 7  But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit to profit withal. 8  For to one is given through the Spirit the word of wisdom; and to another the word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit: 9  to another faith, in the same Spirit; and to another gifts of healings, in the one Spirit; 10  and to another workings of miracles; and to another prophecy; and to another discernings of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; and to another the interpretation of tongues: 11  but all these worketh the one and the same Spirit, dividing to each one severally even as he will. – 1 Corinthians 12:6-11 (ASV)

There are many things to share in this passage of Scripture, but I’m going to talk about healing and miracles. And I hope that this will be beneficial to you. Everyone has the ability to have faith to believe in healing and miracles. However, God gives some the gift of healing or the gift of miracles. These gifts, as all gifts, are for the one who possesses the gift to use to help and strengthen others. Let’s say a person is a new believer, with a terminal illness, and they desire to be healed, but their faith isn’t mature enough to believe for complete and total healing from that illness. The person with the gift of healing can intercede for that new believer. If that person had to wait for their own faith to be mature enough they’d probably die. It’s not God’s desire for us to only rely on the person who has the gift. He wants us to study His Word and become strengthened ourselves.

As for the difference between Healing and Miracles. When you are healed, your body will recover naturally.  When you experience a Miracle, God is using His Power to supernaturally intervene above and beyond natural law. For example, you have the flu. You command the flu to leave your body and you command your body to recover. If you’re healed, it may be a few days before your body recovers.  If you receive a miracle, you’ll see evidence of the healing immediately. This should be a great encouragement to you and a booster to your faith. Because many times, if we don’t see the evidence right away, we think “it didn’t work”.  We question or doubt our faith. But the moment you prayed and received your healing by faith, the flu was killed at the root. Think about the fig tree. The moment Jesus cursed it, the root of the tree died. But the evidence wasn’t seen until the following day. Don’t lose your faith while waiting for the manifestation. Maintain your confession. The enemy is going to try and make you doubt your healing. But if you understand the difference between a healing and a miracle, your faith will not waiver. You may have to speak to yourself. Remind yourself that you’re healed. Re-read the passage of scripture concerning the fig tree. Encourage yourself. And know that you are healed.

Jesus Tells Us To Speak To Our Mountain… Not To Him About Our Mountain

13  And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find anything thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for it was not the season of figs. 14  And he answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit from thee henceforward for ever. And his disciples heard it. 20  And as they passed by in the morning, they saw the fig tree withered away from the roots. 21  And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Rabbi, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away. 22  And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. 23  Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou taken up and cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that what he saith cometh to pass; he shall have it. 24  Therefore I say unto you, All things whatsoever ye pray and ask for, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. 25  And whensoever ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have aught against any one; that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. 26  But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father who is in heaven forgive your trespasses.- Mark 11:13-14; 20-26 (ASV)

18  Now in the morning as he returned to the city, he hungered. 19  And seeing a fig tree by the way side, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only; and he saith unto it, Let there be no fruit from thee henceforward for ever. And immediately the fig tree withered away. 20  And when the disciples saw it, they marvelled, saying, How did the fig tree immediately wither away? 21  And Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do what is done to the fig tree, but even if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou taken up and cast into the sea, it shall be done. 22  And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive. – Matthew 21:18-22 (ASV)

These two passages of scripture are a wonderful message about the power of words. You may wonder why I’ve included them in a book on healing. The answer is simple and will be clear to you in just a moment. But first, let’s examine the Word. Matthew and Mark recount the moment when Jesus saw a fig tree that had leaves, indicating it should also have figs, because the figs come before the leaves. But there were no figs. In Matthew 21:19, we learn that the fig tree immediately withered. But in Mark 11:20, we see that it’s morning and they pass by the fig tree and it’s withered away. So which is it? Was it immediate or did it take a day? The answer is both. When Jesus cursed the tree the root immediately died. If the root is dead, then the tree is dead. But the evidence of what had taken place underground wasn’t visible until the following day. The disciples were in awe at what Jesus had done. And Jesus told them they have the power to do the same thing. We all do. If we have faith and don’t doubt and believe what we are saying, then we can speak to our mountains. We can tell our mountains to be cast into the sea. To be removed. And it has to obey. His Word tells us that we will receive what we are praying.

A sickness or disease may be your mountain. Jesus is telling you what to do. Speak to it. He doesn’t say, come tell me about your mountain. I mean, if you want to talk to him about it, you can. He’ll listen. But He told you to talk to your mountain. He didn’t say call the prayer circle. Post it on Facebook. Tweet about what’s going on. He said He’s given you the authority to handle this mountain. It’s not just the words you’re speaking. It’s the faith behind the words. And be encouraged. Even if you don’t see it happen right away, know that the moment you spoke in faith to your mountain, it was removed.

What “I AM’s” Are Coming Out Of Your Mouth?

Blah blah blah

Joel Osteen has a book, “The Power Of I Am” and it’s a great reminder that we should pay attention to what we call ourselves. Because whatever follows our “I Am” will follow us. It’ll come looking for us.

All of us talk to ourselves. All of us. And that doesn’t make us crazy! LOL. It makes us normal. And when we do, what do we say?

“I am broke.” or “I am prosperous.”

“I am sick.” or “I am healthy.”

“I am unattractive.” or “I am beautiful.”

“I am not strong enough to…” or “I am strong and will…”

“I am unlucky” or “I am blessed beyond measure.”

Think about how powerful words are! God created the universe with words. Proverbs 18:21 says,Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.

We get to choose the words we say about ourselves. We have the ability and the right to say:

I am amazing.

I am healthy.

I am courageous.

I am wealthy.

I am prosperous.

I am victorious.

I am wonderful.

I am brilliant.

I am creative.

I am righteous.

I am joyful.

I am happy.

I am a magnet for success.

I am kind.

I am blessed.

I am saved.

I am awesome.

I am a Child Of The Most High God!

Now, would I walk up to someone and introduce myself by saying, “Hello, my name Monica and I am awesome.” Of course not! Because I am also humble. But I am certainly thinking it. 🙂 Because I am God’s child and He made me in His image. And He’s awesome! He’s wonderful, blessed, prosperous, healthy, overflowing with abundance. You get my point. And He’s no respecter of people.

So, just as amazing as I am, so are you! You are amazing with the gifts and talents and life that He’s bestowed upon you! Know this! Believe this! And walk in it!

Be Blessed and Have a Fantastic Day!

Establish Within Yourself… That God Cannot Lie

Water Scene

Recently I was watching a Jesse Duplantis tape and heard something that changed my life.  I used to think that Jesse Duplantis was just a funny preacher that was all about money.  But lately, I’ve been watching his messages and what I’m learning couldn’t be further from the truth.  He’s really a faith teacher and the “things” he speaks of are simply a by-product of his faith.

In one of his sermons, he said “establish within yourself that God cannot lie”.  As a Christian, I’ve heard “God is not a man that He should lie.”  I’ve heard that all of my life and I’ve believed it.  But for some reason, when I heard it the way Jesse put it, it resonated with me in a way that it never has before.

Establish within myself that God cannot lie.  To go deeper with that thought, I read the definition of “establish”.

1. To gain full recognition or acceptance of

2. To show the existence or truth of, by evidence

Related Words – Attest, Authenticate, Bear Out, Support, Sustain, Uphold, Confirm, Corroborate, Justify, Verify, Identify, Confess, Testify, Certify, Witness

So if I’m establishing within myself that God cannot lie, then I could also say it this way:

Monica, gain full recognition and acceptance within yourself that God cannot lie.

Monica, show the existence,  by evidence, within yourself that God cannot lie.

Monica, attest, authenticate, bear out, support, sustain, uphold, confirm, corroborate, justify, verify, identify, confess, testify, certify, and witness within myself that God cannot lie.

The only way I can do this is to know God.  I have to know His character.  I have to know what He says.  I have to talk to Him.  I have to read His Word.  I have to remember all of the things in my life that have happened because He told me it would.  That’s how I know God.  And that’s how I establish within myself that God cannot lie.

How about you?  Have you established within yourself that God cannot lie?  I can promise you this.  The more you become rooted in that promise He’s given us, the better your life will be.  Do you have a need? Seek His Word about it.  Find out what He says.  Then establish within yourself that because He cannot lie, His Word will never return to Him void.  He will accomplish His purpose in your life.  Why? Because He cannot lie.

I’m not a preacher, evangelist, prophet, etc.  I’m just a woman who has a heart for God and desires to share what I learn in the hopes that it may benefit someone else.

Be blessed!

STOP The Conveyor Belt Of Negative SPEAKING Positive Words

posted in: Blogging | 0

I have an exercise for you. Silently count to ten (10) and before you get to ten (10), speak your name out loud. Go on. I’ll wait. 🙂  When you paused to say your name, what happened? Were you able to keep counting in your head and same your name at the same time? Nope. Probably not. When you said your name, you had to interrupt your counting.

This is what you do with negative thoughts. The enemy to your life will run negative thoughts on a conveyor belt in your mind. He wants to see which of those thoughts will stick. But, when you speak what God says, you interrupt that conveyor belt. Then, you redirect your thoughts in the direction they should go.

On the conveyor belt of thought: You don’t have enough money. How are you going to pay your bills? You just received a foreclosure notice. You owe back taxes. You’re behind on your car payments. SPEAK: My God shall supply all my need according to His riches in Glory.

On the conveyor bet of thought: Did you feel that pain in your chest? You read about it on the internet. It’s the beginning of cancer. You’re going to be sick and it’s going to get worse. SPEAK: By His stripes I am healed. With long life shall my God satisfy me.

On the conveyor belt of thought: This man is never going to marry me. I’m wasting my time. I’ll be single all my life and never have the love I desire. SPEAK: My God will give me the desires of my heart, that my joy may be full.

Do you see what I’m doing? I’m stopping the negative thoughts from taking root in my life. It’s dangerous to say things like “It is what it is” “There’s nothing I can do to change it.” Because when you embrace that way of thinking, then you accept the negativity that the enemy to your life wants to send you. And you are believing his report more than you are believing God’s report. And then your life will reflect your thoughts and you’ll have a negative self-fulfilling prophecy. God says His Word never returns to Him void, but do you realize that the way you think can make it return to you void?

Take control of your thinking. Speak how you want your life to be.

Challenge yourself. Ask yourself what are you thinking? Are they thoughts of life to you or thoughts of death. Seek God’s Word and find three (3) scriptures/ promises that combat what’s on your conveyor belt of thought. And then speak them when that conveyor is turned on. You will see a positive change in your life.
